Argus 125
BRI, PRI & Analog Test Telephone
Product overview
The Argus 125 is a premium test tool for BRI, PRI, U-interface and POTS accesses. An ideal tool for testing, installing and troubleshooting ISDN services.
The Argus 125 is compact and easy to use with intuitive menus, cursor keys and soft keys.
The Argus 125 autotest sequence will quickly determine the ISDN line configuration and protocol including point to point/point to multipoint, ISDN services available and any active call diversions.
Test reports can be easily generated using the WINplus software included.
Bit Error Rate tests may be run during a call with adjustable good/bad threshold and injection of errors if required. All results are displayed on the back lit LCD in clear text.
The Argus 125 is powered via rechargeable batteries or power adapter. Flash-ROM technology enables free software updates via PC to future proof your investment.

BERT & MegaBERT
The Argus 125 allows a standard bit error rate test (BERT) to be performed using one or two timeslots (concurrently) on a framed G.704 line. However, a new optional MegaBERT feature allows the user to test the full bandwidth by running a BERT using all 32 timeslots on an unframed G.703 line (2048kbps), or timeslots 1-31 on a framed G.704 line (1984kbps).
WINplus
WINplus is included with each Argus 125 and enables the user to generate access acceptance reports which document the work performed and the faults that occurred.
WINanalyse
WINanalyse is included with each Argus 125 and provides comprehensive ISDN D Channel protocol analysis including ASN1 content. The simple Windows user interface aids identification of hidden protocol errors making it a useful tool when installing or servicing an ISDN access.
