X25 Profile Editor

Description: The content can be customised to briefly describe the characteristics of the current X25 profile with an ASCII character string.

Min duration: The profile is executed at least during a minimum duration. When this time is over, the profile execution ends when all the incoming or outgoing calls have been ended (an empty field means an infinite value of time).

Protocol: Definition of the protocol used by the emulators:-

• X25: defined in the ITU X25 recommendation.
• X75: defined in the ITU X75 recommendation.

Behaviour: Configuration of the simulation.

• Generator: Specification of the outgoing calls (or circuits) of the Call simulator.
• Responder: Specification of the incoming calls of the Call simulator.

Configuration: Configuration of the emulators.

• LAPB emulator: Specification of the parameters of the LAPB protocol.
• Packet emulator: Specification of the parameters of the Packet protocol.

Data source definition: To define the characteristics or a list of pre-selected items for each type of data source to be used.

• Select Transmitted files: To define a list of several file names.
• Received file: Name of the file which can be used to record received data. File located in the working directory.

• Transmitted pattern: To define a list of several patterns of characters.
  • Ascii: For editing in ASCII mode.
  • Hexa: For editing in hexadecimal mode.

Interrupt packet: Specification of the use characteristics (content, period).
