X25 Profile Editor: LAPB Emulator Init

Protocol mode: Emulation mode:-

• DTE: Clarinet emulates the X25-LAPB Data Terminal Equipment.
• DCE: Clarinet emulates the X25-LAPB Data Communication Equipment.
• Auto: Automatic mode:-
  • If the Clarinet interface is of the ISDN type, the emulator is set automatically in DCE mode when receiving a first incoming call and in DTE mode when generating a first outgoing call.
  • If the Clarinet interface is of the Vseries type, the emulator is set in the same mode as the interface.

Modulo 128: Modulo option:-

• No:The frames are numbered modulo 8 (basic operation).
• Yes: The frames are numbered modulo 128 (extended operation).

Numbers: Value of counters specified for X25-LAPB.

Timers: Value of time-limits specified for X25-LAPB.
