Clarinet Init
Current configuration: The configuration of the
Clarinet System includes initialisations and specifications of behaviour
during profile execution.
Note: The Clarinet Manager must be restarted after any modifications
are made to the current configuration file.
- Configuration file: Name of the current
configuration file, located in the \Clatools directory.
access:
to the list of Configuration files (standard
or customised) located in the \Clatools directory to
change the one that is currently selected.
- Edit...: To
edit the current configuration file.
Installed package(s): List of the Clarinet software
packages that are installed:-
- Clarinet System: Version and release date
of the Clarinet System Run-Time package.
- Clarinet System Help: Version and release
date of the Clarinet System Help package.
- Clarinet ETS ... : Designation, version and
release date of the Clarinet TTCN ETS package.
- ...
System information: Content of the acacia.ini
file located in the Clatools directory.
List of Clarinet variables organised into section(s).
[System]: Section containing variables for the
Clarinet System, set during the installation of the Clarinet Run-Time
software package depending on the selected options:-
- Name: The name you entered during the installation
process.
- Organization: The organisation name you entered
during the installation process.
- Serial Number: The software licence serial
number you entered during the installation process.
This serial number must be kept safe for re-use when upgrading
the Clarinet System software.
- Language: Relative path (from the Clatools
directory) of the files of character strings used by the Event editor
Protocol for decoding events.
- Clainter: For decoding events in English
language.
- Clafrenc: For decoding events in French
language.
- Version: Reference automatically set at the
installation.
- Date: Reference automatically set at the installation.
Standard configuration files
Configuration files are supplied with the Clarinet System Run-Time package.
A standard configuration file, will allow you to run a basic test application
for the Clarinet System. When a profile is launched by the Clarinet Manager,
secondary windows will be opened to display the protocol and/or statistics
event traces.
The default filter defined in the configuration file is used to display the
protocol event trace during the profile execution if all the following
conditions are fulfilled:-
- The profile uses protocol event mode.
- The profile does not specify a protocol filter.
- The default filter is present in the working directory.
