VSeries Signalling Behaviour: Generator Specification
Starting delay: Initial waiting time period between the starting
of the execution of the profile and the launching of the communication,
that is the positioning of the outgoing circuits relating to the Signalling
state.
If there is no SL defined, the delay is before the positioning of the
outgoing circuits relating to the Data state (an empty field means an
infinite value of time).
Execution number: Number of consecutive executions of the communication;
must have a finite, non-null value.
Delay between exec: Delay between the end of the previous execution
and the launching of the next execution of the communication.
Call establishment: With the following steps in sequence:-
(*) active parameter only if SL is defined.
- Establish time-out: Maximum value of the establishment
time, which is the time duration between the end of the Starting
delay and the beginning of the Data state.
If this duration expires, the establish sequence is stopped and the
outgoing circuits are positioned back to the Quiescent state.
- User indication(*): Character string included
in a traffic event generated at the beginning of each execution of the
communication.
- Command state duration(*): Duration of the Signalling
or Command state.
- Delay before sending(*): Delay between the beginning
of the Signalling state and the sending of the command sequence.
- Command sequence(*): A character string to be
transmitted as the command sequence.
The delimiter characters defined in the End
of strings rubric are automatically added at the end of a command
sequence.
Active state: With the following steps in sequence, if
DL is defined:-
- Data state duration: Duration of the Data state. If
this duration expires, the communication is stopped and the outgoing
circuits are positioned back to the Quiescent state (an empty field
means an infinite value of time).
- Delay before sending: Delay between the beginning of
the Data state and the connection of the data source.
