IP Profile Editor: SIP Message Editor

Message type: Indication of the type of message currently being edited.

To: The 'To' header field of the message currently being edited.

Parse: To activate checking of the SIP message content.

No parser:-

  • No: The parser is used.
  • Yes: No parser is used, and the content can be edited freely and saved.
  • Hexa display:-

  • No: The SIP message is displayed as a series of lines in literal PDU form, which can be edited according to the syntax of the RFC 3261.
    The Copy/Paste functions can be used, to import (e.g. a text portion from a trace displayed in detailed format by the Clarinet Event Editor), export, duplicate etc.
    The content can be automatically regenerated from the alternate hexadecimal form.
  • Yes: The SIP message is displayed as a sequence of octets in hexadecimal form.
    The Copy/Paste functions can be used, to import (e.g. a text portion from a trace displayed in hex format by the Clarinet Event Editor), export, duplicate etc.
    The content can be automatically regenerated from the alternate literal PDU form.
  • Auto Update: Allows you to enable/disable auto-updating of different message fields.
