ISDN suite: The protocol parameters are independently defined for SL and DL:-

• V120-L2: The frames are numbered modulo 8 or 128
  • w/o hdr: without header
  • with hdr: with header
• Q921-LAPD: modulo 8 or 128
• Q931: national implementation

IP suite: The protocol parameters are independently defined for SL and DL:-

• PPP: Option for generating PPP XDU events:-
  • syn: from HDLC framing, and standard encapsulation.
  • asyn: from HDLC-like framing with octet stuffing procedure applied on a stream of asynchronous characters for control characters transparency. Value 0x7d and if needed values < 0x20 are processed according to a negotiated ACCM.
• TCP-UDP: Protocol selection Automatic for higher layer depends on the port numbers.
  A table defines the association port number/protocol.
• SIP-T: ISUP message (application/ISUP) or QSIG message (application/QSIG) transported in SIP messages are displayed above SIP.
