LAN Monitored Addresses

List of MAC IEEE 802.3 address configuration(s): One or several address configuration(s) can be defined and used as matching conditions to allow the monitoring of only the relevant frames:-

• An address configuration includes a Source address and a Destination address forming a logical 'and' condition.
• The active address configurations form a logical 'or' condition.
• The address configuration must be active to result in monitoring of matching frames.
• If there is not any active address configuration, all the frames are monitored.

• Source/Destination address i: A selection can be made from the list, or a value can be manually entered:-
  • Any address
  • Broadcast (only for Destination address)
  • Alias 1: selection from the list of aliases.
  • Value 1: the MAC IEEE 802.3 address format is HH-HH-HH-HH-HH-HH
    (H as an hexadecimal value).
  • ...
• Active: Validation of the relevant address configuration:-
  • No: The address configuration of the line is not taken into account.
  • Yes: The address configuration results in monitoring of matching frames.

Aliases... To edit a list of aliases corresponding to frame addresses.
