SS#7 ISUP Signalling Behaviour: Parameter Edition

Buffer of parameter(s): The buffer can be empty, or composed of one or more parameters.
The current parameter is highlighted. It can be selected from a list of choices or defined by the user.

  • Current parameter: Editing of the parameter type:-
    • (  ) None: No parameter is defined. The line is not used.
    • (x) designation: The parameter is selected from the list of choices.
    • (x) User defined parameter: Value of type can be manually entered between the brackets. The string User defined parameter is automatically displayed if the value does not belong to the list of predefined choices.
  • Mode: Selection of the mode used to include the current parameter within the buffer:-
    • MF: The parameter is included in the Mandatory Fixed part.
    • MV: The parameter is included in the Mandatory Variable part.
    • OP: The parameter is included in the Optional part.
  • : Access to the list of types for the current parameter.
    The attributes MF, MV and OP are there to advise you whether to include the related parameter in the Mandatory Fixed, Mandatory Variable or Optional part.

Coding: To edit the content of the current parameter according to the standard encoding fields if any.

Hexa: To edit the content of the current parameter in hexadecimal.

Up: To move the current parameter up within the buffer.

Down: To move the current parameter down within the buffer.
