ISDN Emulator Configuration - Q931
Initialization
- A message type can be selected from a list to be automatically
sent for service request just after the Q931 emulator has been initialised:
- None: No message will be sent.
- Type 1: A message of this type 1 will be sent.
- Type 2: A message of this type 2 will be sent.
- ...
- IE(s)... Edition of the buffer of
IE's attached to the message.
Call
establishment
- Use broadcast data link
No: Message sent to a TE with its TEI value. This option
is convenient for BRI T0 point to point type.
Yes: Broadcasting of the messages to all TE (TEI value
= 127). Can be used for BRI S0 multi-point type.
- Called party number digits: Two limit lengths are used
by the dialing process:-
- Min: Minimum number of digits to be received.
- Max: Maximum number of digits to be received.
- Send CONNECT ACK: Access to editing
the attached buffer of IE(s).
Message transmission if validation:
No: The message will not be sent.
Yes: The message will be sent.
- Send DISC/RELEASE: Message
transmission for call clearing on timer expiry.
Access to edit the attached buffer of IE(s).
Timers: Value of time-limits specified in the Q931
standard.
Call

- U12/N11 duration: Duration of state U12 (Disconnect
Indication) for the User side
or duration of state N11 (Disconnect Request) for the Network side.

layer 2: the layer 2 is kept connected.
Disconnect
layer 2: the layer 2 is disconnected.
Interface identification & Time-slots available: Call
simulation can be managed on the current Clarinet interface (implicitly
identified) or on a set of Clarinet interfaces (explicitly identified).
Availability of TS's as bearer channels for outgoing and incoming calls
must be defined for each relevant Clarinet. A TS can be simultaneously
available for both call types.
