Maximum number of TEI: Maximum number of TEI allowed for each SAPI.


Q921 SAPI 0

Initialize SAP: Initialisation of the circuit switching service:-

  • No: SAPI 0 is not used and the following parameters are not significant.
  • Yes: The following parameters are used for the configuration of the Q921 emulator.

TEI: To initialize TEI value:

  • from 0 to 63: fixed value.
  • from 64 to 126: automatic assignment.

Numbers: Value of counters specified for Q921.

Timers: Value of time-limits specified for Q921.


Q921 SAPI 16

Initialize SAP: Initialisation of the packet switching service:-

  • No: SAPI 16 is not used and the following parameters are not significant.
  • Permanent: PLL= Permanent Logical Link with use of the following parameters.
  • Use Q931: X31 procedure to establish D channel and use of the following parameters.
    •

    TEI: To initialize TEI value:-

    • from 0 to 63: fixed value.
    • from 64 to 126: automatic assignment.

    Numbers: Value of counters specified for Q921.

    Timers: Value of time-limits specified for Q921.


    Q921 SAPI 63

    Initialize SAP: Initialisation of the management service:-

    • No: SAPI 63 is not used and the following parameters are not significant.
    • Yes: The following parameters are used for the configuration of the Q921 emulator.

    Numbers: Value of counters specified for Q921.

    Timers: Value of time-limits specified for Q921.
