IP Profile Editor: Initialize Emulators
The configuration parameters that are displayed, depend upon the protocol
layer that is selected from the current stack. You can specify what protocols
are used in the current stack in the Choose
protocol stack window.
The stack of protocols uses a subset of the list of implemented emulators:-
- MAC: For configuration
of the MAC IEEE 802.3 emulator.
- IP/ICMP: For
configuration of the IP emulator.
- TCP: For configuration
of the TCP emulator.
- H323: For configuration
of the set of emulators (H225 CAS, RAS, H245, ...) included in ITU-H323
recommendation.
- SIP: For
configuration of the SIP emulator.
- PPP: For configuration
of the PPP emulator (over HDLC, V120, ...).
- V120: For configuration
of the ITU-V120 emulator.
- CLIP: For
configuration of the Classical IP over ATM emulator (RFC1577).
Additionally:-
- RTP/RTCP: For
configuration of the data emulators over UDP.
- Sockets:-
: To enable the use of the Sockets.
- TCP/IP.
