IP Profile Editor: IE edition

Buffer of IEs: The buffer can be empty, or composed of one or more information elements.
The current IE is highlighted. It can be selected from the list, or used-defined.

  • Current IE: Editing of the IE type:-
    • ( / ) None: No IE is defined. The line is not used.
    • (0/x) designation: The IE is selected from the list.
    • (0/x) User defined ie: A type value can be manually entered between the brackets. The string 'User defined IE' is automatically displayed if the value does not belong to the list of predefined choices.
  • : Access to the list of standard IE types.
    The attributes O and M indicate whether, according to the standard, the related IE is Optional or Mandatory.

Coding: To edit or encode the content of the current IE:-

Hexa: To edit the content of the current IE in hexadecimal mode.

Up: To move the current IE up within the buffer.

Down: To move the current IE down within the buffer.

Sort IE: Option to sort the list of IEs.

  • No: The order of the IEs within the buffer is preserved.
  • Yes: The IEs within the buffer are sorted.
