Filter Editor: Call Reference Value
Selecting conditions can be defined by value(s) (see features).
Counting specifications (for Statistics) can be defined by value(s).
(see features).
Their use is based on the following rules:-
- The different selecting conditions in the panel are exclusive.
- Auto mode is not available within a Display action (or counter
specifications).
Call reference Value: A value condition can be
directly edited:-
Yes:
The value condition is selected.
No:
The value condition is not selected.
Call reference Auto: A value condition can be
indirectly defined:-
Yes:
The auto value condition is selected.
No:
The auto value condition is not selected.
The value of the call reference to be used as a selecting condition is
automatically determined from the monitoring of the protocol sequence
upon recognition of a matching message type with an IE content.
- Message: Access to the list of the message
types for the protocol layer. A message type must be selected.
- Information element: Access to the choice
of IE types. An IE type must be selected:-
- Any IE Any IE type may include the selecting string.
- IE type The particular IE type is used as the selecting
condition.
- IE contents:-
- Ascii... To edit a selecting
string of bytes in ASCII mode. The string must be the partial or
full content of the selecting IE of the selecting message.
- Hexa... To edit a selecting
string of bytes in hex mode. The string must be the partial or full
content of the selecting IE of the selecting message.
When the matching condition occurs:-
- Only the messages with the related call reference value will be selected
until the last one ending the communication.
- The automatic recognition becomes inactive until the last message
ending the communication.
