How to Loop TSs over an E1/T1 Trunk

The digital matrix relative to the TS's enables the data to be permanently looped from each TS to another TS of the Current interface.

Setting the test conditions for E1/T1 simulation

A new profile can be created with the Wizard from the Template list by selecting:

  • Trunk application.
  • Profile with a description including Trunk, Simu, PH=E1 or T1, DL=BERT
  • Filter with a description including DL=Bert

Profile resulting from the wizard is ready for Bert Simulation over B channel number 1.

Example: Modifications to loop TS's

  • In the profile go to Interface-Spec... ->Loop :
  • Enter the 'From TS' number below each 'To TS' number that has to be looped.
Application: Looping TS 5 to 7 and 8 to 8
  • Below To TS = 7 enter the value 5 in the From TS field.
  • Below To TS = 8 enter the value 8 in the From TS field.

The data is looped:

  • Content of TS 5 in the input direction will be transmitted in TS 7 in the output direction
  • Content of TS 8 in the input direction will be transmitted in TS 8 in the output direction
