How to Manage Call Timing with Manual Commands

Clarinet Run-time simulation allows the operator to manually manage the launching and clearing of communications. The profile configuration should be adapted for this purpose.

Profiles resulting from the wizard are ready for generating one outgoing call and accepting incoming calls in ISDN Simulation.

Configure the profile to manually manage the launching and the clearing of the Outgoing call COM#1

Edit the profile resulting from selection by the wizard in the template list:

  • Select Generator èCOM#1  èEdit and set :
    • Starting delay field to blank ( meaning an infinite value of time)
    • Data state duration field to blank
  • Select General Tab and set Min duration  field to blank

Save the profile under a new name:

  • ProfileèSave asèfilename.acp.

Manual commands over the Outgoing call COM#1 on Clarinet 1 during profile execution

Immediately after launching of the profile and until the end of execution, the window of the Clarinet-Manager Dialog is extended to provide some real-time options with mannual commands.

To launch a call
  • From the real-time options select èClarinet 1  èSL - Q931 èCall
  • In the Command activation area :
    • Set ID value field to 1
    • Select Outgoing call type

  • Launch the outgoing call by clicking Ok

To clear the outgoing call
  • Select èClarinet 1  èSL - Q931 èClear
  • In the Command activation area:
    • Set ID value field to 1
    • Select Outgoing call type
  • Clear the outgoing call by clicking Ok

Configure the profile to manually manage the clearing of the Incoming call #I,1

Edit the profile resulting from selection by the wizard in the template list:

  • Go to General Tab and set Min duration  field to blank

Save the profile under a new name:

  • ProfileèSave asèfilename.acp.

To clear an incoming call
  • Select èClarinet 1  èSL - Q931 èClear
  • In the Command activation area :
    • Set ID value field to 1
    • Select Incoming call type
  • Clear the outgoing call by clicking Ok
