How to Generate a Wav File from Byte-TS FlowThis page describes the method for generating a wav file from the Byte-TS flow recorded over an ISDN B channel. This is acheived by using the "Analog" properties in the Clarinet filter used on-line (filter name defined in the profile) or off-line (Filter-Run Protocol). Connecting the unit and setting the test conditionsThe connections of Clarinet-Book USB units and the test condition settings for basic monitoring are detailed in the following page: Setting the test conditions for BYTE-TS / Analog filterThe protocol filter file Isdn_xx_bts_analog.acf (Isdn_etsi_bts_analog.acf or Isdn_att_bts_analog.acf or Isdn_ni2_bts_analog.acf) created with the Wizard from the Template list) specifies the stack of protocol. As Byte-TS is defined at layer 1 in "Data Link" , the "analog" protocol is added to layer 2 The "Analog Measurement" tab of the filter includes specifications for both functions: wav file generation and QoS measurement. The filter file Isdn_etsi_bts_analog.acf is configured only to generate wav files.
Generating the Wav fileThe wav files are automatically created in the working directory: with the basename defined in the filter file (Bts_analog_xx.wav as an example). Applying the filter conditions
