How to Respond to and End PSTN Calls from V5.2 - LE Side

The basic profile created by the wizard allows the simulation of V5 LE equipment.

Responding continuously to PSTN calls only

The V5 responder can be configured to reply continuously by specifying an infinite duration:-

  • Edit the profile created by the wizard (e.g. v52_simu_le_e1_pri.acp).
  • Select the General tab, and remove the Minimum Duration value (an empty denotes an infinite duration).
  • Select the Clarinet 1 tab:-
    • Deselect [ISDN User port User Port Provisionned].
    • Deselect [PSTN User port Signalling Behavior]=>Generator=>Port2=>select.

Saving the profile under a new name:-

  • Profile=>Save as=>filename.acp.

Auto clearing incoming calls from V5.2 LE side

By default, all the incoming calls are disconnected from the AN side; however, the responder can be configured to clear the PSTN calls launched from the AN side:-

  • Edit the profile created by the wizard (e.g. v52_simu_le_e1_pri.acp).
  • Go to [PSTN User ports Signalling Behavior]=>[Responder Common Behaviour]=>[1.3 end of exchange]
    • Set a value of n seconds in 'after n sec Send SIGNAL...'
    • Enable the 'Send SIGNAL...' option.
    • Configure the message 'SIGNAL...'

Save the profile under a new name:-

  • Profile=>Save as=>filename.acp.

Manually clearing incoming calls from V5.2 LE side

The responder can be configured to clear the PSTN calls launched from the AN side:-

  • Edit the profile created by the wizard (e.g. v52_simu_le_e1_pri.acp).
  • Go to [PSTN User port Signalling Behavior]=>
    • No value in 'after sec Send SIGNAL...'
    • Enable the 'Send SIGNAL...' option.
    • Configure the message 'SIGNAL...'
  • Save the profile under a new name:-

    • Profile=>Save as=>filename.acp.
  • Run the the profile
  • Go to the manual command area of the manager:-
    • Clarinet1=>SL-V5-x=>PSTN Clear all
    • Clarinet1=>SL-V5-x=>PSTN Clear [Port Address= ]
