ISDN Simulator - Emulator Dialing Process

The process of dialing numbers in overlap mode is done with the following operating rules:

• The T302 timer is set at each INFORMATION message reception.
• The dialing is finished when one of the following conditions is verified:
  • The Sending complete IE (or # character of Called party number IE) is received.
  • The number of digits reaches the maximum value before the expiry of T302.
  • The T302 timer is out.
• The complete dialing number is processed as:
  • A correct value if the number of digits is equal or more than the minimum value.
  • An incorrect value if the number of digits is less than the minimum value.

In the NUMERIS French version:

• Minimum value= value of RCMI parameter.
• Maximum value= value of RCMA parameter.

When minimum and maximum number criteria are not used, the values are set to the limits described in the relevant numbering plan.
