Event-Editor Protocol - Overview
The EVENT-EDITOR creates the presentation of protocol events based on
a file for the operator. It includes:
- A selection and translation of events defined by the DISPLAY
specifications of the associated filter if applied.
- Translation in ASCII form of an AS-Interface events binary file
(DECODING operation).
- Event filtering.
- A basic dialogue for command management.
- Manual navigation in the file according to standard keying.
- Automatic scrolling enabling the ON-LINE editing of a file being
recorded (Auto-Scroll or Auto-End functions).
- Standard text editor functions for string search, ...
- Creation of output files in the ASCII format or binary event format.
- Access to the FILTER-EDITOR to modify the display action of the
current filter.
