Event-Editor Protocol - Reading Events 

The Display action presents the protocol events recorded in a file by the MANAGER. Reading can be simultaneous with recording if the profile is being executed.

All the events in a file include a date. A file is always scanned from the oldest event to the most recent one.

The Display action executes the decoding into ASCII form event by event according to the associated filter specifications and the national language chosen at the time of installation.

When the edition of an event file is launched, and if this file is the one just previously edited, the display position is recovered. Otherwise the display is positioned on the oldest event at the beginning of the file.

Then progression is carried out manually or automatically (Autoscrolling or Autoend modes).
