Clarinet-System Types of Events 

The CLARINET-SYSTEM supports different types of events:

• protocol: relative to detail events generated by the COPROCESSOR in order to describe all information exchange and logic signals on the interface being tested.
• statistics: relative to "protocol" event counting periodically carried out.
• user: relative to event processing by a program of an USER type, developed using the CLARINET-API.

Enabling a user type of event in the Clarinet Manager Dialog is obtained by setting a User application configuration by through CLARINET-INIT.

Access to the functions which depends on events (EVENT-EDITOR, FILTER) uses a selection sub-level to specify one of three types of events. An application including user programs has an application name which is displayed in the title of its windows.
