LAN Interface Specifications

Analysis mode: Recording mode of the frames.

  • All: The data in the frames is recorded until the maximum length.
  • Length: The data in the frames is partially recorded and truncated beyond a length limit which can be edited.
    This mode is useful to only focus on the address fields of the protocol layers, located at the beginning of the frames.

    Minimum frame size: Minimum length of the frames to be monitored.

    Simulation mode:  Monitor Tx Messages.
    Monitoring of Tx Messages should be used for simulation on a 100 Base T interface Full/Half Duplex or 10 Base T Full Duplex.

    • No: option not used.
    • Yes: option used.
      * Not supported by Clarinet Book SCSI type.
