The setup wizard will take you through a series of dialog boxes that will prompt you for information. You will need to have your Clarient Run-Time serial number to hand. What is Created?The installation of the Clarinet Run-Time software will create the directories Clatools and Cladata under the path you selected during the installation process (default C:\Clarinet). A Clarinet System 11.x entry is created on the Start=>Programs menu in Windows. The Clarinet System 11.x group contains shortcuts to the Clarinet Manager, and for initialisation purposes, Clarinet Init and Clarinet Loader. A shortcut to the Clarinet Loader is added to the Start=>Programs=>Start Up group to automatically initialise the Clarinet book(s) if connected. If you do not want the Clarinet loader to run automatically when you start your PC, you can delete this shortcut. The installation of the Clarinet Run-Time software will create the following entry in the list of installed packages displayed by Clarinet Init:-
How to StartFor detailed instructions on using the Clarinet System, online help can be accessed from the Clarinet System 11.x group on the Start=>Programs menu in Windows. Click Getting started on the first page. To view any additional information, which may have been added after this edition of Clarinet Help was released, the file readme.txt is supplied with the Clarinet package. There is a shortcut to the read me file in the Clarinet System 11.x program group. Licence AgreementIn order to use the CLARINET software programs delivered on this CD-ROM, you must comply with the conditions of the Clarinet Software Use Licence. The host PC must be restarted at the end of the installation process. |
